"Greg Horn is an illustrator best known for his Marvel Comics covers. He arrived at Marvel in 1999 sporting a sensational new form of computer art that had never been seen before, ushering in the digital art movement which dominates the comic art industry to this day. Five years later he was recognized for his artistic endeavors, winning Wizard’s Fan’s Choice Award for Best Cover Artist. In the years that followed, Greg forged ahead in a variety of commercial industries, working on more than 20 international advertising campaigns, while providing covers for over 60 video game magazines. This volume of work was eventually collected into two art books titled Cover Stories: The Art of Greg Horn, and published by Image Comics. Beginning in 2014, Greg has seen remarkable success with exclusive variant covers, providing images for many popular convention and store exclusives. Along the way, the artist has revitalized the niche market of remarked comic books with an inventive way of sketching on the unforgiving slick covers. His remarked comic books are among the highest auctioning modern day comics of all-time! In late 2018, Greg finally started his own online store at www.greghornart.com where he offers his latest comic book variants from Marvel and DC Comics, such as Miles Morales#25, Harley Quinn#3, and Venom#200."

Hi! I am Piper Rudich and I am from Fort Myers, Florida. I specialize in comic cover art. I
attended The International Academy of Design and Technology in Tampa, FL, where I studied
Digital Art and Video Production over 25 years ago. After studying at IADT, I was offered a
tattoo apprenticeship and became a tattoo artist. I have worked as a tattoo artist in Southwest
Florida for 22 years. During my time tattooing, I have also continued to create original works
and have shown in several galleries. I have always specialized in portraiture and realism in all
facets of my art. I currently own and operate a tattoo shop here in Fort Myers but have stepped
away from tattooing to concentrate more on comics. I was introduced to the comic industry
through a longtime friend from Scout Comics. Since beginning my recent career as a comic
cover artist, I have been overwhelmed by the support and encouragement that I have received
from the comic community. I look forward to continuing to do art that I love and meeting
incredible new people along the way!

The first comic book I ever plunked down 35 cents for was Amazing Spider-man #176 in 1978, and from there I was hooked on sequential art. I couldn’t pass a convenience store without running in and check the comic racks for new books. Before long, I was copying drawings by some of my favorite artists, like George Perez, John Byrne, and Jim Starlin, and knew that a career in comic art was what I wanted. I got started doing backgrounds for artist John Beatty, and then landed a job inking over Ben Edlund’s pencils for the original Tick series at New England Comics. From there, I went on to work for Malibu Comics, doing art chores on Street Fighter, and a slew of other titles in the Ultraverse line-up, including Prime, UltraForce, Rune, Prototype, and Hardcase, followed by a smidgen of work in Wetworks for Homage Studios, and some pages in “World of Warcraft” for DC Comics.
Desiring to have more control over my art, and a bigger creative input, I began self-publishing my own full-color book, Shanghai, in 1997 under my own imprint, Durendal Comics. I wrote, drew, lettered and colored the entire project myself. Later, the imprint mutated into Brick House Digital, as I began using 3D rendered art in sequential form. I self-published a second full-color Shanghai comic in 1999 as one of the first completely digital art comic books on the market. I was able to hire cover artists Douglas Schuler, Quinton Hoover, George Perez and John Royle for the books. After a long break, I returned to self-publishing in 2016 with Extraterrestrial and followed that up with Cancer Man & Gout Boy and a revival of Shanghai in 2017.
